    1 kg stick rice
    1.5 kg kip stukken snijden
    1 el sout
    4 knoflook
    1 el witte peper
    1 el koriader zaadjes
    2 el cognac, whisky, or rice wine
    2 el kokosmelk
    1 el vissaus [nam pla]
    1 tl gember poeder
    2 el soy saus
    1 medium groen papaya
    4 knoflook
    6 groene Thai chillies (phrik khi nu)
    2 tomaten klein snijden
    1.2 cups green beans, chopped into 1/2 in (2.5 cm) pieces
    2 el anchovy sauce
    1/2 tl zout
    1/4 cup (2 fl oz / 60 ml) tamarindesap [/FONT]

    Sticky rice
    Doe 4 (2lb/1kg) kopjes "sticky rice" in een pan en voeg water toe tot aan de rand.
    Was de rijst een aantal malen met de handen en giet vervolgens het "melkachtige" water af;
    voeg schoon water toe en herhaal dit een aantal keer tot het water helder blijft.
    Laat de rijst de hele nacht inweken in ruime hoeveelheid water (tot aan de rand),
    of om tijd te besparen kan de rijst ook 3 uur lang in heet water geweekt worden als voorbereiding op het stomen.
    Giet de rijst af en doe deze in een mand met een doek, of in een stoomkorf.
    Plaats de mand of de stoomkorf op een pan met kokend water, doe een deksel op de rijst en laat deze ongeveer een half uur stomen.
    Geroosterde kip
    Wrijf de hele kip in met de gecombineerde marinade ingredienten en laat de kip ongeveer een kwartier marineren.
    De kip 45 minuten op 180 graden celcius (350 graden fahrenheit) laten bakken, waarna de kip 10 minuten gegrilld of geroosterd moet worden.
    Snijd de kip in een aantal stukken en serveer deze.
    Papaya salade
    Pel de papaya en spoel deze af onder de lopende kraan, verwijder de zaadjes en rasp het vruchtvlees.
    Even wegzetten. Doe de knoflook, kruidnagel en chili in een vijzel en stamp ze in stukken. voeg de papaya en de resterende ingredienten toe en meng ze voorzichtig met een
